90-degree steps only (not skew correction)
Rotation is limited to 90, 180, and 270 degrees; you cannot tilt to arbitrary angles. By focusing on reorienting between portrait and landscape, it processes reliably without disturbing the layout. It is for correcting a 90-degree misalignment, not fine-tuning a scan that is off by a few degrees.
Orientation is saved as "information", losslessly
Rotation is stored as the page's orientation rather than by redrawing (re-encoding) the content. So text and figures are unchanged with no quality loss, and common PDF viewers and printing all show it in the direction you specified.

You can rotate every page at once or rotate specific pages individually — handy when a document has mixed orientations and you only need to fix some pages.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
